This is an acclerated course for qualified 8th graders. The goal of this course is to introduce concepts in physical science as well as the nature of the scientific method of investigation. The content areas to be covered are as follows: Scientific Investigation and Experimentation, Motion, Forces, Structure of Matter, Earth and the Solar System, Reactions, Chemistry of Living Systems, Periodic Table, Density and Buouancy.
