Department Overview
The study of languages is receiving increased emphasis in today's interconnected world. The world languages department offers courses designed to meet both college entrance requirements and the interests and needs of all students. In the sequential courses beginning with Conversation and Cultures, spoken communication is given major emphasis at the junior high school. Reading and writing are also emphasized. All language courses will include the history, civilization and customs of the people who speak it.
